Nestled between the formal dining room and the breakfast area, I designed this kitchen / breakfast for a pair of empty-nesters who enjoy cooking and entertainment. We added energy-efficient applianes for a great cooking experience; the large island allows easy access for a good conversation with the couple' guests. My clients loved the outcome of combining natural elements, like rattan and wicker in the breakfast area with the kitchen's contemporary, clean lines. I complimented the design by installing an original piece of art woven in genuine horsehair.
